Post Date:11/16/2021 4:30 PM
RACINE – For the second time in as many weeks, the multipurpose stadium at Pritchard Park will host NCAA men's soccer competition. The University of Wisconsin-Parkside will face Fort Hays State University in the NCAA Tournament Sunday, Nov. 21, at noon.

“This is the realization of our dream, a state-of-the-art facility that can be home to local sports and a point of pride for our community,” said County Executive Jonathan Delagrave.

Parkside hosted the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Men’s Soccer Tournament at Pritchard Park on Nov. 12-14. The Rangers captured a GLIAC title, earned the right to continue their postseason journey and now play host in the NCAA Round of 32.

The stadium at Pritchard Park was completed in the fall of 2020 and opened on April 23, 2021. A partnership between Racine County and Racine Unified School District, the synthetic turf stadium is home to community events including local football, soccer and lacrosse.
