RACINE COUNTY DIVERSITY TASK FORCE ANNOUNCES “AFRICAN AMERICAN CONVERSATIONS FOR BETTER OUTCOMES” LISTENING SESSION

RACINE – The Racine County Diversity Task Force will host the “African American Conversations for Better Outcomes” listening session on Sat., March 26, at the Greater Mt. Eagle Baptist Church, 929 State St., in Racine.

The community event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon. Admission is free and all Racine community members are invited to participate in this listening session.

Topics for the event will include addressing housing, transportation, youth justice, education, and economic challenge and opportunities in Racine County. Special guests with expertise in each topic will be in attendance to collect feedback from the community regarding the impact of Racine County services and initiatives. Comments from attendees present at the listening session will be crucial in the evaluation of community outreach.

The event is co-sponsored and supported by the NAACP, Racine Unified School District, African American Chamber of Commerce Greater Racine, Greater Mt. Eagle Baptist Church, ZOE Outreach Ministries, City of Racine, and Racine County.
