Racine County Real Property Listing — Survey Maps
The Racine County Real Property Listing department acts as a repository for the County Survey files.
Not all properties in the County have a survey on file. If there is one, you can purchase a copy from our office either in person or online. If there is not a survey on file, you may want to contact a surveying company for further assistance.

Attention Surveyors
Racine County will accept electronic copies of survey maps (A‑E 7.05) for filing. This will fulfill the requirement of A‑E 7.05(9), Wis. Admin. Code.
The following requirements must be met when filing plats of survey maps electronically with Racine County:
- The survey map is to be filed electronically by email from the Professional Land Surveyor who signed and sealed the survey, or by designated staff.
- Contact information for the Professional Land Surveyor shall be contained in the email, including company name, address, and phone number.
- The survey map shall be filed in a Portable Document Format (PDF) file.
- The PDF file will represent the correct scale of the map.
- The map shall meet the Chapter A‑E 7 Minimum Standards for Property Surveys.
- The map shall have the Racine County parcel identification number(s) listed on it.

Filing survey maps by electronic format is not required by Racine County but is encouraged. Racine County will continue to accept paper maps and file them accordingly.

State Filing Requirement
Please note that Wisconsin State Statute 59.45(1)(b) requires professional land surveyors to file a true and correct copy of any survey with the Land Information Office within sixty (60) days of completion. Please mail an original copy of a survey to the address listed below. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Land Description Department at 262‑636‑3548.
