In any law enforcement agency, the foundation of operations is built upon uniformed Patrol Deputies. These officers serve as the frontline presence in the community, ensuring public safety and upholding the law.
The Racine County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division currently consists of 75 Patrol Deputies and 15 Supervisors dedicated to providing patrol services throughout Racine County. Their responsibilities include responding to emergencies, conducting investigations, enforcing traffic laws, and maintaining a visible law enforcement presence to enhance community safety.
Patrol Operations are supported by several specialized units, including the Criminal Investigations Bureau, Metro Drug Unit, Water Patrol, and the K-9 Unit, each contributing expertise to various aspects of law enforcement.
Additionally, the Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division serves as the primary patrol agency for numerous towns and villages within Racine County, working in coordination with local jurisdictions that maintain full or part-time patrol units. The Sheriff’s Office also provides contracted law enforcement services for the Town of Burlington, Town of Dover, Village of Elmwood Park, Village of Raymond, Village of Rochester, Village of Union Grove, and the Village of Waterford, ensuring consistent and professional public safety coverage.
Through a combination of dedicated personnel, specialized support units, and interagency collaboration, the Racine County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division remains committed to maintaining safety and security throughout the county.
