Crowd Control Team

The Racine County Sheriff's Office Crowd Control Team is a specialized unit that works in conjunction with RACCA (Racine Area Crowd Control Assets) to maintain public safety and protect the rights, safety, and property of all individuals during large gatherings and events.

The team is highly trained in crowd management techniques, conflict de-escalation, and the lawful use of force when necessary. They undergo regular training exercises to ensure they are prepared to respond effectively to a variety of crowd control scenarios.

The primary responsibilities of the Racine County Sheriff's Office Crowd Control Team include monitoring and managing crowds, facilitating the free flow of pedestrian and vehicular traffic, and intervening to prevent or address any unlawful or disruptive behavior. The team works closely with event organizers, local law enforcement agencies, and community stakeholders to coordinate a unified approach to crowd control and event security.
